My favourite colour is lavender.A pale violet with a touch of gray looks great.The fullness of the color comes through when grouped with white.Like any other color if it is used too much it can be a bit much,but just sprinkled here and there throughout your house can  add a nice effect.Lavender is also a very calming colour and a great colour to use for girls if they want a girly but not too overwhelming look.You can use this colour on walls in pretty much any room or use lavender accent pieces(pillows,lamps,picture frames,candles)in rooms which would look great with white walls.

This is a great example of a lavender accent piece.The couch,although its not the nicest really brings some colour to this room.The white walls and the carpet also go with the lavender couch and the print on the walls adds a nice elegant kind of look.Also the lighter shade of lavender pillows look great too.



I love this bedroom!!Its a very elegant looking room and I think would work great for all girls.This room has beautiful lavender walls with white.The bed sheets are my favourite i love the print with the swirls the lavender on the bedsheets seems to have a tint of gray in it which looks really good.The tiles also go great with the room being lavender and grayish.The white head board and flowers are really cute accent pieces.


This is a perfect example of how versitale lavender is, it can be used in anyroom including the bathroom.People always say lavender is a really calming,relaxing color so I think it would be great to have it in your bathroom.Im not a big fan of those curtains i think just plain white curtains would have looked much better but those curtains do add more colour.The bathtub,the main accent piece really fits well with the look of this room!
