Detailed Designs

I chose these three pictures because I really liked the fancy designs that they all had. There are a lot of curves and swirls used in each room. The neutral colours also make it very elegant. There are few furnitures because the designs fill the room up. The little deigns turn the focus point to them because they stand out above everything else that is neutral. The designs also makes the room flow because it's not sharp with a lot of straight lines and shapes. Curtains in the rooms have ruffles in them so that they're just not plain straight and the little drawers handles are detailed too.

I really liked these two white neutral designs. They both give a bright and happy feeling to the room. The colour also makes the rooms appears bigger. The windows in each also help the rooms look more spacious. The furnitures in both room also uses the colour black so that it stands out. The bed and coffee table in the bedroom made of dark wood. The chairs and table of the living/dining room is also a black. The positioning of the furnitures are also very squared. Nothing is at an angle or slightly turned. They are either parallel or right the the corner of the walls. Both rooms are spaced out and isn't cramped up with a lot of furniture and decorations. I like the light feeling these room gives off overall.

Curtains & Blinds.

Curtains and blinds are very versitile and can be used in almost any room.With a wide vareity and style of them in the market they can really make a big difference in a room.They play an important role in completing the decor of a home and should be chosen wisely so that they go well with the setting and texture of the room. Curtains and blinds help to control the amount of light in a particular room. Also, there are lots styles and materials of curtains and blinds that you can decide from.Curtains and blinds are not just used in living rooms they can also be used in bedrooms and bathrooms aswell.

For example these red curtains add a pop of color to the neutral room which livens it up and otherwise would seem a little plain and boring.

These curtains aswell would look good in a room with a neutral
theme.They have a great design which is not to over the top.

Blinds can add beauty and practicality to windows,they are the most popular choice for light control and privacy.

These wooden blinds are very great for light control and cannot be bent or curved like other blinds.The color of these wooden blinds is beautiful and natural and does not over power the room.Also,they go with various color options that can harmonize with the interior space.

kitchen islands (to be cont'd; NOT DONE)

We think that the kitchen island are very practical and a good use of space. It can be used as a storage area, an extra seating area and  a place to prepare food. It also helps make 'the work triangle' easy to achieve. On the other hand, kitchen islands can take up quite a bit of space. It would make a smaller kitchen too crowded and decrease the distance between the appliances in the work triangle. An alternative would be to use the smaller islands which are simlar to a high table like the one below.

iron stairs

I really like the look of the iron stairs and the designs on the side. It gives an elegant look that can be antique or modern. In a simple, neutral room it adds design and detail to the room. Usually stairs are now wooden with simple designs and very traditional. I like how just the floral design or curves can make a difference an tie the space together.
